A MURAL TO FEAR

The unveiling of Netflix's new blockbuster series "Griselda" was accompanied by an impressive Out-of-Home (OOH) campaign that garnered attention in both Hamburg and Leipzig. Two strategically important and bustling locations were chosen for the campaign: the Hamburg city center near the main train station and Karl-Heine-Straße in Leipzig's city center. Both sites are well-known hotspots frequented by thousands of people daily, ensuring maximum visibility and reach.

LED strips with a total length of over 600 meters were used to create light boxes that highlight the text elements of the design.

In Hamburg, seven talented artists worked together to execute the mural. Over 350 cans of paint were used to bring the detailed design to life on the wall. The artists needed a week to complete the artwork. Profile LED light boxes ensured that the important text elements stood out perfectly even in the dark. The painted design was further enhanced by partial video mapping, a technique that projected dynamic and interactive elements onto the static artwork, significantly boosting the visual effect.

In Leipzig, two artists were responsible for the execution. They used over 250 cans of paint and took two weeks to complete the mural. Here too, profile LED light boxes were employed to highlight the text elements of the design. These elements added impressive visual depth to the mural, making it a true eye-catcher even at night. As in Hamburg, the Leipzig mural was complemented by partial video mapping, which made the artwork appear lively and dynamic.

The mural project for "Griselda" was a striking example of how art, technology, and logistics can perfectly harmonize. The combination of traditional graffiti elements, modern LED light boxes, and innovative video mapping created a visual experience that fascinated both day and night. The positive response from passersby and the viral spread on social media underscore the success of this campaign.
