Shortly before the series premiere of Star Trek Picard, a spectacular star appeared on Hamburg's 'Schanze': The Holographic Motion Mural.

What made it special were the 2-meter-high LED letters of the series title. They were enhanced with a holographic animation. Using Hologram projectors (Holo-Circle), we incorporated an animated 3D highlight into the series name.

The projectors are delicate, so we built a transparent plexiglass box to protect the fine electronics from wind and rain. This allowed the holographic animation to run continuously 24 hours a day, with the video projection automatically starting at dusk.
